Belarus tractors presented at international expo in Netherlands

Four models of small and large tractors Belarus were presented at the 19th international exhibition of agricultural machinery Nederlandse Landbouwbeurs-2011 in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, BelTA learned from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus.

Belarus’ exposition was arranged with the help of the Belarusian Embassy in the Netherlands. Taking part in the expo were Minsk Tractor Works, Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant, and Bobruiskagromash.

During the exhibition Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the Netherlands Yelena Gritsenko met with the director of the Dutch company Belarus Nederland B.V., representatives of Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Aggregates Plant, and Bobruiskagromash. The parties discussed ways to expand and diversify the supplies of Belarusian farm machinery to the Netherlands.

At present, over 70 tractors Belarus are operated in the Netherlands. The Belarus-made tractors are steadily popular with local farmers. Belarus Nederland B.V. guarantees timely supply of spare parts and warranty service of Belarusian machines.

The parties reached preliminary arrangements to supply Belarusian tractors to the Netherlands in H1 2012. A number of Dutch companies expressed interest in becoming dealers of Minsk Tractor Works.
