Bobruisk Tractor Units Plant starts shipping Belarus-311 tractors to Pakistan

Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Units Plant started the deliveries of the Belarus-311 tractors to Pakistan, director of the company Alexander Agranovich told BelTA.

The company had signed an agreement with Shahzad Trade Links (Karachi) to deliver 52 tractors to Pakistan. Two tractors have already been shipped, the delivery of the first consignment of tractors will be over in April.

The experts of the Belarusian company are about to travel to Pakistan to train local specialists.

After the agreement is fulfilled the sides will consider the shipment of 500 more Belarus-311 tractors to Pakistan by the end of 2011.

Belarus-311 was designed in late 2011. It is a small-power tractor with a 35-hp Chinese engine, which was adapted for Asian conditions.

“The deliveries to Pakistan are another measure to expand the volume of company’s export. In 2010 the company exported tractors to 20 countries. It plans to tap the markets of Iran, Iraq, Algeria, Taiwan and other Asian countries in the nearest future. Our experts are looking for potential partners in other regions too,” Alexander Agranovich said.

In his words, experts of the company have designed Belarus-324 tractor with hydraulic transmission. New tractors will undergo tests this year.

Bobruisk Tractor Parts and Units Plant was founded in 1945. It manufactures more than 500 types of component parts and units for the entire range of tractors. In 2009 the plant started to produce more powerful tractors Belarus-622 and Belarus-422. The company has a quality management system in compliance with the ISO 9001 2001 international standards. Today the company employs about 3,500 people.
