New batch of Belarus tractors reaches Iraq

The Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units supplied a new consignment of eight small-scale tractors Belarus-311 to Iraq, BelTA learnt from the company.

Belarus-311 tractorBelarusian tractors were delivered to the Iraqi company DARIN Co. A contact with the company was signed in September 2012. The cooperation between the Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units and DARIN Company started in 2011.

Last year the Belarusian and Iraqi companies took part in an international exhibition held in Erbil, the Republic of Iraq, and featured tractors and utilities equipment produced at the company in Bobruisk. The equipment was sold out to local agrarians.

A new contract confirms high quality of Belarusian tractors and the fact that the Belarusian brand has good prospects for taking a strong foothold on the Iraqi market.

In January-October 2012 the Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units sold into 20 countries. Among its consumers were the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and other CIS countries, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Mongolia, Venezuela and others.

Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units was founded in 1945. the company made part of the Minsk Tractor Works in 1972. It manufactures component parts and units for the entire range of tractors produced by the Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark). The company started producing small-sized tractors Belarus-320 in 2007, and Belarus-422.1 and Belarus-321 in 2008. It also manufactures more powerful tractors Belarus-422 and Belarus-622 and attachments to them.
