Belarus supplies $6.5m worth of tractor equipment to Venezuela in 2012

Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Plants and Units supplied Venezuela with tractor equipment worth over $6.5 million in 2012, BelTA learnt from the company.

Tractors Belarus-321 in VenezuelaOn the whole the Bobruisk plant supplied 282 tractors and 275 dump semitrailers under four contracts last year.
In November-December Venezuela received 200 Bobruisk small-scale tractors Belarus-321 and 200 dump semitrailers. Vehicles went to Agropatria Company in Cagua (Aragua State).
According to the company, the biggest contract was signed with Agropatria in June 2012 during the official visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
A group of experts of the Belarusian plant is currently in Venezuela helping receive, prepare and hand the machinery over to the customer. The Belarusian specialists are also expected to train local engineers.
Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units was founded in 1945. The company made part of Minsk Tractor Works in 1972. The company employs about 3,700 professionals. It manufactures component parts and units for the entire range of tractors produced by Minsk Tractor Works. The company started producing small-sized tractors Belarus-320 in 2007, and Belarus-422.1 and Belarus-321 in 2008. It also manufactures more powerful tractors Belarus-422 and Belarus-622 and attachments to them.
