Vietnam interested in purchasing Bobruisk-made tractors

Vietnam is interested in purchasing tractors produced by Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units for Tuyen Quang Province, BelTA learnt from the enterprise. Representatives of the factory commented on the visit of the official delegation from Vietnam on 7 April.

According to head of the delegation Nguyen Sang Vang, one of the main goals of their visit was to seek partners who could supply brand-new agricultural machinery to Tuyen Quang Province. The province is situated in northern Vietnam in a mountainous region, its economy being based on agriculture and wood processing. Thus, the development of the agricultural sector is vital for the region.

The sides held negotiations which resulted in the sides agreeing on developing various options of tractor supplies. In order to define cooperation prospects the leadership of Tuyen Quang Province invited specialists from OAO Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units to visit Vietnam in April 2014.

The Bobruisk factory noted that the delegation had got familiar with the main products and the operation of the tractor assembly shop. They also visited the exhibition of machinery which can potentially sell well on the Vietnamese market.

Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units was created in 1945. It branched out into producing tractors in 2007. The enterprise manufactures 11 main models of tractors and municipal vehicles based on the same technology. The enterprise also produces details, units and sets for MAZ-made tractors Belarus and disk wheels for agricultural machines.
